1. Privacy-First Commitment

At Slay or Nay ("we," "our," or "us"), we believe your personal fashion choices and photos are your business. We have designed our mobile applications (iOS and Android) and our website (https://slayornay.app) with a strict privacy-first architecture. No account registration is required to check your outfits, and we do not collect personal identifiers like your name, email address, or phone number during normal usage.

2. How We Handle Your Photos

Your photos represent your personal identity, and we treat them with the highest standard of security:

  • Transient Processing: When you snap or upload a photo to rate your outfit, compare fits, or run a virtual try-on, the photo is securely transmitted via encrypted HTTPS connection to our artificial intelligence processing endpoints (such as Google Gemini API or OpenAI API).
  • No Permanent Storage: Once the AI analysis is completed and the rating, text feedback, or styled try-on image is generated, the photo is immediately deleted from memory. We do not store your photos permanently on our servers.
  • No Model Training: Your uploaded photos are never used by us or our API partners to train or improve AI models.
  • Local Closet Storage: Any closet inventory or wardrobe images you capture to build your digital closet are stored strictly locally on your device's sandbox. We do not upload your digitized closet to our servers.

3. Data We Collect

Because we do not require account creation, we do not collect typical registration data. However, to provide our services and process payments, we collect:

  • Usage & Diagnostics Data: Non-personally identifiable logs including device model, operating system version, app version, language setting, and crash logs.
  • In-App Purchase Data: Transaction tokens, subscription state, and consumable credit balance. We do not collect or store credit card numbers; all payments are handled securely through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • IP Address: Standard network logging is utilized transiently to protect our APIs from abuse, rate limits, and DDOS attacks.

4. Data Sharing & Processors

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties. To perform styling analysis, we share your uploaded outfit photos securely with our designated AI subprocessors (including Google Cloud API and OpenAI API). These processors are contractually bound to process your images transiently and securely under strict data security regulations.

5. Your Rights & Choices

Since your data (including wardrobe closet items and styling history) is bound directly to your physical device, you have full control over it. You can erase your entire app history, closet inventory, and streak records at any time by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app from your device.

6. Children's Privacy

Slay or Nay is designed for individuals aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will immediately delete it.
